Background:
Rakuen has no memories from before she turned fourteen. She awoke in a deserted house in the middle of a vast forest in Japan, miles from any civilization and utterly alone with only the spirits that had been dwelling there for decades. Having the ability to see and speak to the spirits she conversed with learned from them. They gave her the name “Rakuen,” meaning “paradise,” and taught her all they knew; telepathy, spirit summoning, and beast summoning. She picked each up surprisingly quickly, learning from pure words and thoughts without having any real demonstration. Before long she could use telepathy masterfully and summon spirits and beasts alike with no problem, but she could only summon small creatures due to her lack of stamina and energy.
Time crept by slowly and Rakuen had just turned eighteen when the spirits decided to suggest she go to a school for the supernatural called Halloween Academy to continue her studies. They had taught her all they knew and felt she had the potential to learn much more than what they could offer alone. They were also well aware that she needed to return to the world of humans and beasts. Thus they sent Rakuen off to apply to become a student at the Halloween Academy.
Personality:
Rakuen has a passive personality; she will sit back and observe others rather than try to interact with them. As a result of living alone with only spirits for company for so many years Rakuen is quiet and not very social. She also doesn’t show any emotions, not because she dislikes to but because she is unable to, another result of her living with the spirits. She has no experience associating with others.
Being used to using telepathy to speak she isn’t used to speaking with her actual voice, giving others the impression that she’s mute. There is one way to hear her voice and, however, and that is on the rare occasion that she sings. With her telepathy she has the ability to communicate her thoughts to others as if she were speaking, but since most people aren’t so keen on the idea of her coming into their minds she tries to write what she has to say on a notepad as an alternative way of communicating. If someone seems suspicious to her she won’t hesitate to use her telepathy to read their minds, but other than that she refrains from doing it too much.

Fenrir is Rakuen’s first summoned creature, a wolf pup. After obtaining the information on how to summon beasts from the spirits she successfully summoned a creature on her first attempt. As a result of her lack of energy, however, she could only summon a wolf pup. Normally summoned beasts return to the place from which they came once their job is over, but Fenrir, instead of returning to where he had come from, decided to stay with Rakuen, having taken a liking to her.
Being but a pup, Fenrir is extremely curious. Not only that, he is extremely mischievous as well. He has a feisty personality and isn’t afraid to bite but, despite his personality, he is protective of Rakuen and tries not to do anything to get her into trouble.
Fenrir has the ability to create illusions. Normally they’re used to play pranks on others, but they can also come in handy in the face of danger. The most common illusion Fenrir uses is that of a larger, more terrifying version of himself, similar in appearance to the mythological beast, Fenrir.
